Once upon a time I had just gotten into the wonderful world of couponing. I, like most, started out a little over-zealous. It's hard not to when you have all of these amazing deals flying at you! The coupon obsession consumed me for a while. In that time, I started this blog thinking that I would use it to pass on all of my great findings to family and friends. I never really used it and the poor blog has just been sitting here. So now, I think I'd like to start over. A lot of my "free" time during the day is spent on the computer, most of the time looking for deals. Why not take that time and put it to good use? Ok, so this time around I really don't feel like going through transaction by transaction. In short, between my cousin Heather and I we got $464.24 worth of stuff for $30.83, including the toys! Yay us!!!

Now normally I wouldn't spend so much on a shopping trip but my Husband's WONDERFUL Aunt Sande very very kindly gave us 2 gift cards to Publix this week. With the great deals on chicken and some other things we use a lot in our house I figured I'd put her gift to good use! I think I did pretty good getting $281.02 worth of groceries for just $115.56!
